After spending the day exploring the expansive apartment that has become their Aussie home, Hollywood superstars Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes made a splash at a Melbourne aquarium.
With wide-eyed 3-year-old Suri in tow, the glamour couple made a surprise visit to the tourist site and were photographed - not by pesky paparazzi but by a local mum instead.
While security teams spent all day scouring the Crown Casino for cameramen - who used walkie-talkies to communicate with each other and hid their lenses in shopping bags and backpacks - in the end it was lucky fan Robyn who got the frame.
"I turned around and there was Tom Cruise," she said.
"It was a pleasant surprise."
The trio returned to the four-bedroom uber penthouse lent to them by billionaire James Packer about 6pm but the sight-seeing is tipped to be lifting a notch tomorrow night when the TomKat clan hit the town - sans Suri - to celebrate Cruise's 47th birthday.
The pair are expected to venture out for a night of partying, said to involve watching Collingwood's clash with Essendon at the MCG.
One rumour has fellow Scientologist Kate Ceberano playing a part in the night's celebrations.
Holmes, 30, begins rehearsals on Monday for big-budget horror flick Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark, alongside Aussie actor Guy Pearce. (Credit: News Limited)
