Casino tycoon Stanley Ho has dismissed as “a joke” a recent report by US gambling regulator which accused him of having “ties to Asian organised crime”. According to South China Morning Post yesterday, Ho stepped up his criticism of a report by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, released last week which advised MGM Mirage not to enter with businesses with is daughter, Pansy Ho, who was deemed “unsuitable” because her father had links with organised crime in Asia. Ho said last week that he had a lot of money and had no reason to get involved in illegal activities. (Credit: Macau Daily Times)
